At present, the following data are available:

  • March 2002 THOR Validation Campaign near the ARM SGP site in Oklahoma: Nighttime clear-sky and cloudy-sky observations from aboard the NASA P3-B aircraft, taken at altitudes ranging from 4 km to 8.5 km.
  • September 2003 AASI experiment over the ocean between Chile and Antarctica: Daytime clear-sky observations taken at altitudes ranging from 2 km to 8 km.
  • Test observations at NASA GSFC in Maryland: Up-looking nighttime clear-sky and cloudy-sky observations taken from the ground.
